I don’t normally set New Year’s Resolutions, but this year, I wanted to do something different. I always say I’ve never been anywhere so 2018 will be my year to change that. I’m not going to go crazy with my vacation days, but I plan on making the most out of my travel opportunities this year. Here’s where I’m planning to go:
April 2018: New York City
Yas, queens! I’m planning on fulfilling the ultimate SATC goal by stepping foot on NYC grounds this spring. It hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but I’m crossing my fingers (and toes) in hopes to attend the 2018 FGI Regional Conference. Each year, the Seattle region sends its two newest board members to the conference so wish me luck!
September 2018: Vancouver, B.C.
Can you believe I’m 30 and I’ve never been out of the country?! I know! But hopefully, that will change this fall when I finally get a passport and take a #fashionroadtrip three hours north to Vancouver, B.C. for Vancouver Fashion Week! I don’t plan on going for the entire week, but I think for my first trip a nice Canadian weekend getaway should do the trick.
October 2018: Portland
So, I have to admit that I’ve been to Portland before for FashioNXT, but I honestly didn’t feel like I got to experience everything that the city has to offer since I only spent one night there. This year, I’d like to go back for the entire week of FashioNXT and take it all in.
I’m super excited so make sure to follow @stylishlymade on Instagram for all the fun updates!
